As a Mortgage Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that meet their financial needs.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in understanding their mortgage options and the application process. Evaluate clients' financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products. Prepare and present mortgage proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth processing of applications. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage journey, addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial services or a related field is highly desirable. Strong numerical skills with a solid grasp of basic mathematics. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to manage multiple client cases simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
