2. POSITION SUMMARY



Working for Global Insurance Management Limited you will be a part of the Claims team. To provide a service to policyholders & clients in respect to any submitted claim, providing guidance and support in accordance with the appropriate policy wording, the agreed parameters set by the Underwriter, Company procedures and Financial Regulations. This position will predominately cover Mechanical, Electrical, High Voltage claims, but will also include coverage all the VAP products (Smart/Tyre/Gap etc) as the claims volumes dictate.

Main Tasks



Able to work accurately and confidently solely and as part of the team being able to handle incoming claims in a courteous and efficient manner and within agreed SLAs for Phone and electronic submissions. Follow agreed procedures relevant to each policy type to ensure that the appropriate evidence and documentation is obtained to allow settlement of claims within service and technical standards. Provide such support and assistance to policyholders as may reasonably be required. Register claims and ensure any received correspondence is attached to the claim electronically. With clear and concise notes added to the claim with clear actions taken. Accurately process of all Claim Payments in a timely manner. Liaise with insurers as necessary in accordance with agreed insurer procedures. Following agreed procedures in respect of training and competence, regulatory framework. Any other duties, which the Company may reasonably require. Ensuring that the customer experience is at the heart of everything you do, always treating customers fairly. Collaborate with your colleagues and the wider business to proactively drive the correct outcome for all of our customers.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Claim handling and payments in all Types of Insurance claims for the Automotive Value-Added Products Industry.

4. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE, Technical Skills and Abilities



Essential:


o A good allround technical knowledge and understanding of all types of motor vehicles including E.V vehicles, with Industry recognised qualifications.
o A good knowledge of the Automotive Industry preferably with a Premium Brand, but not essential
o Be able to build good relationships with all colleagues, includng those in other offices and countries.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail.
o Be a pro-active learner with a desire to develop.
o IT Literate confident using a range of programmes, email, word, and in particular have intermediate skills in Excel
o Ability to work as a team player, collaborate effectively and be focused on delivery and achieving team goals.
o To work efficiently, to tight deadlines and prioritise work load.
o Excellent command of English language both written and verbal

Advantageous (Not Essential)
o Fluent in either French or German both written and Spoken

Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience



English and Maths at a minimum of GCSE level Industry recognised qualifications with more than 5 years' workshop experience High Voltage Knowledge and Capability in both Repair and Systems Core Understanding of Warranty Policy and Procedures from any OEM Manufacturer
