Claims Handler

Location: PurpleSquare Hire, Unit 3 Verity Court, Middlewich, CW10 0GW.

Position: Permanent.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week over five days between Monday - Friday.

The hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

Salary - 26,000 - 28,000 + Bonus

Our Opportunity

PurpleSquare Hire are looking to recruit an experienced Claims Handler to join our growing motor

claims team. This role will place you at the heart of our customer journey and you will be the first

point of contact in moments that matter to our clients.

What will your day look like:

Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional claims handling service. Respond to client enquiries via phone calls and emails. Reviewing and setting up new claims, instructing partners and updating claims on internal systems. Proactive diary management to monitor and progress live cases. Liaise with insurers, repairers and other agents. Promote our inhouse claims service to clients. Conduct liability assessments. Keep client/referrers fully updated on their claims. Working towards individual and business KPI's. Assist with training and mentoring. Attend client review meetings. Assist with the day to day admin tasks
Knowledge and Abilities:

Professional and amiable approach. Experience in a 'First Notification of Loss' (FNOL) for an Insurer or Claims Handler is an advantage. Previous contact centre experience is an asset but is not essential. Excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills and the ability to think on your feet. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks. Self-motivated and engaged. Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers, manage calls professionally
and tactfully to achieve the best outcomes.

Ability to use 'soft skills' such as empathy, tact, assertiveness and diplomacy demonstrating
understanding that our customer could be distraught and concerned following an incident.

PC literate with excellent administrative skills. Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own. Proficient in MS Office. Strong knowledge of Credit Hire.

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
