Jensten Underwriting, a dynamic and rapidly growing Managing General Agent (MGA), is expanding its team and is looking for a Motor Product Manager to help sharp the development and performance of our Commercial Motor and Fleet insurance products.
This is a remote role, with travel to our London office required twice a month. You'll report directly to the Underwriting Director and work closely with key stakeholders including Operations, Trading Heads, the Head of Pricing, and the wider underwriting team.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our Motor products remain customer-centric, competitive, and profitable. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving problems, driving change, and building strong relationships.
Key responsibilities:
Support the development and optimisation of our Motor product suite
Analyse product performance to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement
Support product specification changes and contribute to roadmap delivery
Collaborate with trading, pricing, and operational teams to ensure changes align with strategy and are effectively implemented
Assist with testing and sign-off of product changes
Communicate findings and updates to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and engaging way
Monitor scheme performance, income, and profitability, ensuring alignment with underwriting criteria
Contribute to the development of new products and schemes
Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends to maintain product competitiveness
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal governance standards
Promote the values of the Jensten Group and deliver positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders
About you
You're someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with data to solve real-world problems. You have a strong understanding of Commercial Motor or Fleet insurance products and are confident using Excel and Power BI to analyse performance and support decision-making.
You'll also be or have:
Passionate about insurance and product innovation
Experience managing Commercial Motor or Fleet insurance products
Strong Excel and Power BI skills
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management
Organised, detail-focused, and proactive
Enjoys working collaboratively and solving problems
