Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled
Moulding Technician
to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced injection moulding, extrusion manufacturing environment and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves maintaining and optimising injection and blow moulding and extrusion equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.?
Key Responsibilities:
Tool Maintenance:
Competently strip down and rebuild single and multi-cavity tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.?
Process Optimisation:
Demonstrate a systematic approach to process evaluation and optimisation to enhance efficiency and product quality.?
Tool Changes:
Perform tool changes, handling equipment up to 2.5 tonnes, in a safe and efficient manner to minimize downtime.?
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct essential maintenance and repairs on injection moulding machines and tools to maintain operational readiness.?
Desirable Experience and Knowledge:
Pipe Extrusion Process:
Understanding of pipe extrusion processes and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve operations.?
Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM):
Experience with single and two-stage ISBM processes, contributing to versatile manufacturing capabilities.?
Injection Blow Moulding (IBM):
Familiarity with IBM processes to support diverse production requirements.?
Hot Runner Systems:
Comprehensive knowledge of hot runner systems to ensure efficient Mold performance and product quality.?
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Expertise:
Proven experience in a fast-paced injection moulding manufacturing environment.?
Mechanical Aptitude:
Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.?
Attention to Detail:
Keen eye for detail to ensure precision in tooling and product quality.?

Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.?
