JOB PURPOSE:

To provide end-to-end production of custom silicone ear moulds using 3D printing and silicone casting techniques. Working from digital ear scans, the technician operates specialized software and equipment to create high-quality, custom-fit products for clients. This role ensures each ear mould meets technical specifications, performance standards, and client comfort requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Import and edit 3D ear scan files using CAD software. Prepare and optimize digital models for 3D printing. Set up and operate 3D printers to create ear mould shells or negatives. Prepare moulds for silicone casting, ensuring precision and cleanliness. Mix and pour medical-grade silicone materials into printed moulds. Cure and demould silicone products with care and accuracy. Trim, polish, and finish silicone ear moulds to meet product specifications. Inspect completed ear moulds for defects, fit, and finish. Perform adjustments and rework as necessary to meet high quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and calibration of 3D printers, curing stations, and tools. Follow all safety and hygiene protocols when handling materials and equipment. Record production data and maintain accurate job tracking.

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

Basic knowledge of CAD software Experience with 3D printing processes

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
