Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Move More Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, or adults managing long-term health conditions. Beyond delivering excellent and engaging movement sessions, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive, positive environment that encourages empowerment, self-belief and improved wellbeing through physical and social activities.

Hours

24 hours per week

8 am-4 pm

Over 3 days per week, which must cover Tuesday and Wednesday and excludes Fridays

Duties

Deliver excellent customer service

Conduct a screening and assessment process

Lead inducting new and current users

Ensure the I Can Circuit is delivered effectively

Monitor the customer's progress.

Work within a highly motivated and dedicated team, including Centre Manager, Move More Coaches, Receptionist and volunteers.

Help to evaluate the service

Support the operational requirements of the Centre.

Responsible for opening and closing the building

Identify opportunities for learning and self-development.

Help develop the Centre and Service

Adhere to all elements of Health and Safety

Skills

Teamwork

IT includes Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel

Passion for working with older adults, disabled individuals or adults managing long-term health conditions.

Excellent organisational skills, including administration, resources and time management, ability to establish and coordinate systems and processes.

Desirable Qualifications

First Aid Qualification

DBS certificate and registration with the DBS Update service.
