Please note: you must be able to do early mornings (3:30am onwards) and late finishes. Some overnight shifts will also be required.

M&S Bakery in Queensway is part of an independent owned franchise. It is a special place to work, where we value and nurture our team's skills to create the best possible experience for our customers. Our bakery combines traditional techniques with modern creativity, producing everything from sourdough loaves to morning pastries. We are now seeking a talented Baker who is passionate about baking, dedicated to quality, and ready to contribute to our team's success.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Baker to join our dynamic team in a vibrant, high-volume bakery. We are looking for someone experienced in producing a range of breads, including sourdough, baguettes, and pastries, who can thrive in a early morning customer facing shift environment. This role involves supporting our bakery's production demands, managing time effectively to maintain quality and consistency, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and provides opportunities to further develop your craft in a supportive and inspiring setting.

Key Responsibilities:

lead the preparation and baking of a variety of products, from sourdough, baguettes, and pastries. Plan and organise production to ensure quality, meet daily volume targets, and reduce wastage. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, strictly following health, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines. Support inventory management by ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies as needed. Demonstrate strong baking knowledge.. Collaborate with and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Adapt to a range of tasks, providing flexibility to meet the bakery's evolving needs.
