Key Responsibilities
Perform tasks across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, and basic masonry*.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders*.
Install, repair, and maintain building components, fixtures, and systems*.
Conduct demolition*, site preparation, and material handling as needed.
Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate repair or installation methods.
Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards*.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to meet deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of work completed*, materials used, and time spent.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple construction trades.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, codes, and safety practices*.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across various building systems.
Competent in using a wide range of tools and equipment.
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication and time-management skills.
Valid driver's license (preferred or required depending on employer).
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Formal trade certifications or apprenticeships are an asset but may not be required.
3+ years of experience in construction or building maintenance (typical).
