Reabrook Ltd are seeking to recruit the post of

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

with mechanical bias to join our manufacturing site in Moira.

The main purpose of this role is to provide onsite mechanical support to enable the company to be run effectively, safely and to fultill all legal obligations. To maintain and repair plant and machinery by general fitting, machining, pnumatics and electrical support.

Duties & Responsibilities



Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Repairing and maintaining production and ancillary equipment, property and facilities ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and in line with the requirements of the production process and plan. Completing PPM tasks, maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing data entry records within appropriate timescales. Acting as host for Contractors working on site ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and completed and that safe working practices are agreed prior to commencement of work. Working with the production teams to improve their capability and knowledge of the equipment. Ability to quickly identify problems, perform root cause analysis to stop repeat failures. Following policies and procedures in conjunction with the site quality management system and retailer-specific technical standards Playing an active part in health and safety, identifying hazards and risks, and ensuring all health and safety procedures and safe working practices are always followed.
This role will also include a paid out of hours emergency call out cover with other members of the Engineering Team on a rotational basis

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm and Friday 6.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Please note that this role will occasionally involve lifting, optional overtime, and weekend work. Along with remunerated Out of Hours call out.

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate.

Previous experience working in a factory environment or similar FMCG industry. Process the ability to work with pneumatic controls and read electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings. PPM Maintenance The capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures Team working skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills. Enthusiasm, commitment, and the drive to succeed.
Qualifications:

minimum - Apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering Strong precision engineering / advanced manufacturing background within highly regulated industries. (Experience within the chemical & aerosol industry advantage) City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in Mechanical engineering. Ideally multi-skilled. Ideally experience within an FMCG Industry Excellent written and communication skills Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and analyse data.

Pay: From 36,000.00 per year
