Job Overview

We have an opportunity for an experienced Painter with min 10 years-experience, with a multi-trade skills set, to join our build & maintenance team. This role is based 4 miles south of Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire on a country estate with a large commercial and residential property portfolio.

The Role:

Painting and decorating and carrying out a range of general repairs & maintenance tasks and general build tasks, whilst working effectively and efficiently, both solely and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Internal and external painting & decorating to a high standard

Reactive, preventative & planned general maintenance tasks

Recognise issues and offer solutions

1st/2nd
fix carpentry work

Assisting with bathroom / kitchen installations

Assisting with tiling,
general plumbing, plastering and glazing

Expectations:

Demonstrate good knowledge and experience whilst carrying out tasks

Drive to various properties and sites based within the local portfolio

Demonstrate a sensible approach to health & safety requirements in accordance with company policy, using RAMS and PPE

Accurately record work time, materials and plant

Communicate clearly and
politely with management, supervisors, colleagues and occupiers of properties

Participate in a shared on-call rota

Demonstrate the safe
use and safe storage of any plant and other materials

Report issues or defective materials/equipment

Always deliver a high
standard of work

Demonstrate punctuality

Possess an ability to work on ladders and scaffolding at various heights.

Possess a flexible approach to working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive)

Qualifications:

Full UK driving license

Working Days/Hours:
Mon-Friday 08:00 until 16:30 pm (40hr week)

Commercial vehicle
provided for business use only ( including fuel card and servicing)

Annual Leave: 28 Days
including bank holidays.

Salary: 31k - 35k
(depending on experience and qualifications)
