Job Summary:

Active Future South Shields is seeking an enthusiastic

Sports Coach

to join our team and deliver engaging

Sports Coaching

. This role is perfect for someone passionate about coaching and inspiring children to develop their skills and love for sports.

Hours of Work:

Wednesday 5-7pm

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver

engaging coaching sessions

tailored to the children's age group and abilities. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment to encourage skill development and enjoyment. Monitor and assess children's progress to adapt coaching strategies effectively. Arrive early to set up and ensure a hazard-free and welcoming environment. Maintain professional standards, including wearing appropriate uniforms and using clean equipment. Interact with parents during drop-off and pick-up, providing updates and ensuring proper supervision of all participants. Ensure the facility is left clean and organized after sessions.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of

sports coaching methodologies

. Ability to connect with and

educate children effectively

. Enthusiasm, reliability, and professionalism in all interactions.
