The Role
As a
Multi-Sports Coach
, you will:
Deliver
high-quality PE lessons
in line with the national curriculum.
Lead
extra-curricular clubs
(before school, lunchtime, and after school).
Plan, deliver, and review engaging sessions across a variety of sports and activities.
Provide positive role modelling, encouraging children to be active, confident, and resilient.
Work closely with school staff to ensure our delivery is aligned with the school's values and objectives.
Support wider Empower Active programmes, including sports camps and community events during school holidays.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on inspiring young people, enjoys working in a team, and wants to continue developing their career in coaching and education.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated coaches with a genuine passion for working with children.
Essential:
A minimum
Level 2 NGB qualification
in a recognised sport.
Proven
experience coaching or teaching PE in schools
.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to engage and motivate children of all abilities.
A professional attitude with high standards of delivery.
Desirable:
Multi-Skills Level 2 or higher qualifications (PESSPA, PE specialism, or equivalent).
Safeguarding (L2/3) and Paediatric First Aid qualifications.
PGCE, QTS, or other teaching qualifications.
Experience of working in both primary and secondary settings.
