Overview

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to contribute effectively to various building projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Carry out masonry tasks, including bricklaying and stonework to create sturdy structures. Perform painting duties to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Fabricate components as required for specific building needs, ensuring precision and quality. Conduct electrical installations and repairs, adhering to safety regulations and codes. Weld materials together for structural integrity in various applications. Execute carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work. Install roofing systems that are durable and weather-resistant. Use power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Plumb fixtures and fittings accurately to ensure proper functionality. Utilise hand tools proficiently for detailed work in construction projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Proficiency in masonry, painting, fabrication, electrical work, welding, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and the use of power and hand tools is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. A valid driver's licence may be required for site travel.
