Who We Need:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Mentor to guide, support, and coach individuals on our funded Youth and Community Construction Skills projects.
You will have to be confident in teaching your skills. We are looking for someone whose hands-on expertise and professional insight will be vital in helping some of the most vulnerable young people in our society to build confidence, technical skills, and real-world knowledge
The Role:
To Manage VIY community projects
Mentor
and train young people in
trade skills
Help young people work towards
City & Guilds accreditation
Oversee site
H&S
supporting team and young people
Ideal Candidate:
? Hands on multi trade experienced/qualifications, site management and H&S experience
? Passion for mentoring young people with ability to motivate and support individuals (experience preferred but not essential)
? Able to guide, support, and inspire the next generation of tradespeople
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

DBS check required

? Full Clean Driving licence and access to own vehicle required
Responsibilities:
Hands-on trade work + mentoring
Work alongside and support mentors, youth engagement team and assessors
Support young people in gaining hands on experience in trade skills
Ensure safety & safeguarding policies are followed
Work with Project manager on site audits/material lists and project delivery
