As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the production of high-quality dairy products. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities, managing processes, and implementing improvements where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
To be able to operate, manage and control
at least one piece
of equipment, plant, machinery and processes as part of the production of cheese, whey, milk or effluent, working to standards and specifications outlined.
Ensure the CIP of plant and equipment, housekeeping tasks
Monitor and control metal detection as a critical control point
Pack produce to specification
Ensure all systems are up to date
Adjust settings to meet required standards and specifications
Monitoring of labelling equipment and replacement of label reels when required
Daily calibration of machines as required
Maintain running the line under fault conditions utilising the contingency plan
Testing and sampling as directed by Technical and SHE team
Carry out other tests and checks as required, including CCP/ OTIF Support colleagues, to ensure planned production runs are achieved with minimum downtime and re-work
Monitor and maintain appropriate cleaning schedules
Follow health and safety requirements as required
The role will cover a 24 hour shift pattern working 2 x 12 hour days and 2 x 12 hour nights with four days off.
The successful candidate must possess a "can do" attitude and have a flexible approach to overtime and working patterns.
