Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry. This role requires a hands-on individual who is capable of fabricating and building structures or components as needed. The Tradesman will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties. Carry out carpentry work including building frameworks, doors, and furniture. Execute plumbing tasks such as installing and repairing pipes and fixtures. Conduct electrical work including wiring, installations, and repairs. Utilise power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Apply plastering techniques for wall finishes and repairs. Assist with roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Engage in masonry work to build or repair structures using bricks or stones. Fabricate components as required for specific projects. Collaborate with other tradesmen and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry. Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good physical fitness as the role may require lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. A valid driving licence is preferred

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
