Are you a hands-on problem solver with a broad skill set?

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our dynamic team and play a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. Quantock Lakes is a family-owned business at the foot of the Quantock Hills based in Nether Stowey, Somerset. The role will be a varied role covering all areas of the business within the wedding venue to the extensive grounds and commercial areas surrounding.

The role can be on a part-time or full-time basis; however, flexibility would be desirable to suit the needs of the business.

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks across different work areas, helping ensure our facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards. Every day will bring new challenges and the opportunity to be part of a highly proactive team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across multiple trades (e.g plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical work, groundworks)

Respond to repair requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.

Assist with all aspects of repairs, building maintenance and general labour/groundwork requirements.

Work collaboratively with the wider team to support site-wide needs.

What We are Looking For

Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled or maintenance role

Strong knowledge across at least two trades (e.g plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling).

Ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions in accordance with the timeframes.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work independently or as a team.

Health & Safety awareness (certifications advantageous).

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ or City & Guilds in relevant trades (or equivalent).

CSCS card (for construction-based roles).

Driving licence.
