u Compose and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS3 and KS4 Music curriculum
u Inspire students through practical music-making, composition, and music technology
u Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and musical exploration
u Use a range of formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform planning
u Support extra-curricular activities such as choir, orchestra, school productions, and concerts
u Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support both academic and personal development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
u Have experience teaching Music at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
u Be a reflective and adaptable practitioner with strong classroom management and differentiation skills
u Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
u Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
u Be enthusiastic about continuous professional development, team collaboration, and musical innovation
