We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Rochdale from September 2025, to cover a 1-year maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire creativity and a love for music across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' confidence, performance skills, and musical understanding.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong background in Music
Have experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience preferred)
Be enthusiastic, imaginative, and able to bring music to life in the classroom
Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including performances, clubs, and events
