About the Role
You'll:
Teach Music to students aged 11-16 in secondary school settings
Deliver lessons in Music theory, music technology, or instrumental performance
Supervise and engage pupils in pre-planned lessons when covering absent teachers
Manage classroom behaviour and foster a constructive learning environment
Provide feedback on student engagement and progress
Optionally cover other subjects--plans provided
What We're Looking For
Experience teaching Music in a school, college, or group setting
Ability to engage, inspire, and manage secondary-aged pupils
Strong class control and interpersonal skills
To teach Music to Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11-16)
At least 3 months' experience working with children or young people in the last 2 years
Eligible to work in the UK
Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
If overseas qualified: must have UK ENIC verification and knowledge of the UK education system
