Job Description

A lovely family based in Chigwell, Essex, is looking for a full-time Nanny to care for their three school-aged children on a permanent basis. The role includes all general nanny duties. A confident driver is essential, and the role requires the use of an automatic car only. The family travels internationally for 3 to 4 weeks each year, so a willingness and flexibility to travel with them is important. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, (ideally Saturday but flexible). School Holiday: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (55 hours) Term Time: 7:00 am to 9:30 am and then 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm (40 hours) Average hours per week: 44 hours per week
Duties include:

Tidying up and maintaining a clean environment
Supervising the children and ensuring their safety
Organising and engaging in arts and crafts activities
Reading books and encouraging a love for stories
Assisting with homework and school-related tasks
Taking the children to parks and playgrounds
Accompanying the children on special outings, such as visits to museums and the zoo
Doing the children's laundry and managing their clothing
Making the children's beds and changing bed linen as needed
Tidying the children's rooms and bathrooms
Organising and cleaning the children's play area
Loading, running, and emptying the dishwasher
