Overview

I am seeking a caring and responsible Nanny/Housekeeper/Home-help, to provide attentive childcare and support a single full-time Dad of 2 children. I have a boy aged 6 and a daughter with SEN, aged 5.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing children, capable of creating a safe and engaging environment, have experience of children with SEN, and possess excellent communication skills.

The times required are mornings before school and after school/tea times, making snacks and a meal for the children. You will be either picking up one child or being home when the other child is dropped off by the transport, so access to a vehicle is important.

Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during scheduled hours Prepare meals and snacks suitable for the children Occasionally to assist with bedtime routines, including bathing, dressing, and reading stories Drive children to/collect from school, activities, or appointments as required Maintain a clean and organised play area and children's belongings Communicate regularly with parent regarding children's progress and any concerns

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or nannying roles Valid driving licence with a clean driving record Fluency in English Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with parents and children Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children Ability to adapt to different family routines and household rules Flexibility to work during agreed hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
