National Programmes Administrative Officer

Job Description

The post holder will be the first point of contact for the National Programmes team, provide administrative support and assist in the planning and delivery of the National Programmes workstreams.



Working independently, within a busy team, the post offers variety with multiple workstreams/projects being undertaken in an environment with well established procedures and standards in place.



They will ensure their workload is managed effectively and demonstrate flexibility in thinking, openness of mind and readiness for frequent change. The post holder will respond appropriately in a timely , accurate and professional manner.



This post is being offered as a secondment opportunity only. If you wish to apply, you must have your line manager's approval before making an application. This post is for a fixed secondment period but may be extended or made permanent at the end of the secondment period depending on available funding and business requirement.



Deal with first line enquiries to the department .



To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the National Programmes Team and associated work streams.



To develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders .



Undertake secretariat duties for internal and external meetings.



Work independently and manage own workload



This post is secondment until 31/03/2026 due to funding.
