Job Summary:



Thrive are looking for an experienced and proactive National Sales Manager to develop and deliver our ambitious sales strategy across the UK and Ireland within the cleaning and hygiene sector. This senior role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the rapidly growing sustainable products sector whilst building and leading a high-performing sales team.

As National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering revenue growth, managing channel partnerships, and ensuring that our key accounts receive exceptional service.

This role offers a hybrid working environment with regular national and international travel to meet with clients and partners. A company vehicle or car allowance will be provided.

Responsibilities:



Working alongside the Sales Director and Leadership Team you will be responsible for delivering the following

:



Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships with key accounts Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform business decisions Deliver go-to-market strategies for new sustainable product launches
Sales Management & Development

Build, manage, and mentor a team of regional sales representatives and account managers Establish and maintain relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and commercial clients Negotiate major contracts and strategic partnerships Develop and implement sales training programmes to ensure team excellence
Business Development

Build strong relationships within the industry and our distributor and customer base to maximise revenue potential from all verticals Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sustainable cleaning products market Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales collateral and campaigns Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Performance & Analytics

Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape Utilise CRM systems and sales processes to optimise team efficiency

Essential Experience and Skills:



Essential Requirements, Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in senior sales management roles, preferably within cleaning products, or sustainable goods sectors Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a national capacity Experience managing and developing sales teams across multiple regions Strong understanding of UK B2B sales and distribution networks
Skills & Competencies:

Exceptional leadership and team management abilities Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively

Desirable Skills and Experience:
