As the first senior commercial hire, you will be instrumental in generating new business, expanding client relationships, and designing a scalable sales department from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing:
Driving Growth:
Secure profitable projects nationwide, actively targeting developers, Tier 1 & 2 contractors, and fabricators. You'll manage the full sales cycle from outreach to closing.
Building a Department:
Within 12-24 months, you will design and build a national sales team of at least 5 direct reports, implementing lead generation systems and reporting structures.
Strategic Impact:
Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to evolve pricing, delivery models, and capacity planning, while consistently delivering quarterly growth in pipeline and net margin.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Oversee the onboarding, coaching, and management of new sales staff, establishing KPIs for both yourself and your team.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Sales Acumen:
5+ years of senior sales experience within construction, fenestration, or subcontracting, with a track record of closing high-value B2B deals and managing long sales cycles.
Team Builder:
Hands-on experience in growing sales departments, with the ability to inspire and lead.
Commercially Sharp:
You're margin-focused, operationally disciplined, and ready to take full accountability for results.
Tech-Savvy:
Experienced with lead generation systems (e.g., Barbour ABI), CRM, and reporting tools.
