Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional for the position of NAV BC Jet Reports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and system architecture, with a focus on creating and managing reports within the NAV Business Central environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to ensure efficient reporting solutions that meet business needs.

Duties

Develop and maintain reports using NAV BC Jet Reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance to business operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement solutions using .NET technologies, ensuring compatibility across Windows and UNIX platforms. Manage database queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with information security standards while handling sensitive data. Participate in solution architecture discussions, contributing insights on system architecture best practices. Work with cloud services such as AWS to enhance reporting capabilities and performance. Troubleshoot issues related to report generation and provide timely resolutions. Maintain documentation for all developed reports and processes to ensure clarity and continuity.

Requirements

Proficient in .NET programming, with experience in developing applications for Windows and UNIX environments. Strong knowledge of SQL for database management and report generation. Familiarity with information security principles to safeguard data integrity. Experience with AWS services is advantageous for cloud-based reporting solutions. Understanding of solution architecture and system architecture concepts is preferred. Knowledge of ESXi for virtualisation management would be beneficial. Familiarity with DNS configurations is a plus. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
