Ndt Supervisor

Middlesbrough, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you excited at the prospect of being part of the world's largest Monopile Factory and contributing to such a significant project? - a crucial part of building the foundations for a Net Zero future.

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Supervisor to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across our projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of NDT activities on-site or across designated projects. You'll be directly involved in carrying out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT), while also overseeing third-party contractors, reviewing NDT documentation, and managing related administrative tasks.

You'll act as the main point of contact for all NDT matters, working closely with contractors and internal teams to coordinate daily activities in line with project schedules. You'll ensure all testing is completed to the correct standards and safety requirements, approve NDT procedures, and oversee a range of methods including VT, MPI, UT, PAUT, and TOFD.

Your attention to detail will be key as you review and validate inspection reports, maintain accurate records, and manage NDT-related data within our ERP system. You'll ensure traceability, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the business. You'll also play a role in verifying contractor time sheets, approving invoices, and keeping inspection data up to date and aligned with project reporting.

To succeed in this role, you should have a qualification in Mechanical or Materials Engineering (or a related field) and at least five years' experience in NDT coordination or execution in construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas. You must have hands-on experience in MPI and UT, with valid PCN Level II (or equivalent) certification. We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of NDT methods and standards, confident in interpreting inspection results and reviewing reports, and comfortable working with MS Office and ERP systems.

If you've worked on large-scale fabrication or steel structure projects, have experience with PAUT and TOFD, or have managed NDT documentation and traceability within ERP systems, that would be a bonus.

At SeAH Wind, we value expertise, commitment, and collaboration. If you're ready to take the next step in your NDT career, we'd love to hear from you.

In return, we can offer an attractive base salary depending on experience of 40k-50k, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and a 5% employer pension contribution with other benefits still being developed.

At SeAH Wind we are committed to developing a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Our aim is to build a workplace that attracts the most talented people and creates an environment that fosters courtesy and mutual respect.

All applications will receive equal consideration for employment regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expressions, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. Simply put, SeAH Wind value you whoever you are.
