Job Description

We have an exciting learning opportunity for a Band 5 staff nurse to join our Neonatal service.



Our Neonatal units are level 2, caring for babies born from 27 weeks gestation and above. We have 3 levels of care- Intensive, high dependency and special care and you would be well supported within our amazing team.



We support a very busy maternity unit and work within the Neonatal network around London to ensure every baby is cared for in the best possible place.



Opportunities for Band 5 nurses to develop their skills within the Neonatal speciality. We support nurses to complete the Neonatal QIS course with our amazing PDN team.

To work within both the nursing and multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence

based, holistic and family centred care to neonates from admission to discharge.

To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation

of nursing care within the neonatal unit.

To participate in the teaching and supervision of junior staff and student nurses

as required.

To be a safe and effective practitioner
