Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, qualified band 5 nurses to join our team. You will be an RN/RSCN/-Child ideally with a neonatal qualification specialty or a minimum of 6 months current neonatal experience.



You will have a positive attitude and be able to provide excellent clinical, compassionate care, with a willingness to learn.



You will be able to work well independently and within the team and support junior staff as well as pre-registration student nurses.



The neonatal unit at Warrington and Halton NHS foundation trust has 14 cots, 2 ITU, 4 HDU and 8 special care cots located in 2 rooms. We have recently expanded our service to include transitional care cots based on the post natal ward to reduce term admissions and separation of mothers and babies.



We are part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Network. We accept referrals from all networks as our location close to the M6, M56, M62 makes us ideally situated for this.

Role Summary



To assist the Ward/Department Manager in creating and maintaining an environment in which members of the ward/department team can contribute to the maximum of their ability in providing a high standard of care, staff welfare and staff training.
