Job Description

The Association and Advisory role is a unique position that encompasses two distinct areas of responsibility, making it a hybrid role. This dual focus allows for a comprehensive approach to building strategic alliances and providing expert guidance.


One aspect of the role involves cultivating relationships with industry associations, which includes negotiating agreements, offering tailored solutions, and fostering mutual growth. The other aspect centers around supporting Advisory Service firms, sharing insights, and offering technology thought leadership for their clients consideration.


This hybrid nature requires a versatile skill set, combining strategic partnership development, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of technology trends and industry-specific challenges.

Associations (60% of role):



The Associations Program facilitates the development of strategic relationships with various industry associations. Its primary objectives are to provide technology thought leadership and valuable content to association members, negotiate partnership agreements, and offer preferential pricing arrangements through these associations. We collaborate closely with association leaders, encouraging them to recommend NetSuite to their members and actively promote the adoption of our platform. This collaborative approach fosters mutual benefits and strengthens the relationship between all participating organizations.



Advisory (40% of role):



The Advisory Program is a strategic initiative designed to support both large-scale and boutique advisory firms specializing in business transformation services. This program focuses on offering valuable insights, guidance, and expertise to these firms, ultimately leading to technology-driven changes within various industries. The primary goal is to showcase how NetSuite can be a transformative solution for a diverse range of businesses.


In this role, the key responsibilities include providing advisory services with timely and relevant information, sharing industry-specific knowledge, and demonstrating NetSuite's capabilities to address unique business challenges. By fostering ongoing information exchange, building strong relationships, and implementing value-added initiatives, the Advisory Program aims to position NetSuite as a preferred choice during system selection processes and business transformation projects.


This role involves requires a consultative approach. By maintaining regular communication and establishing long-term relationships, the Advisory Program ensures that NetSuite remains at the forefront of technology considerations for business improvements.


The role would suit those that have first line Sales and/or Alliance experience maintained over several years, those with excellent communication skills and disciplines and those with solid account planning to maximise a relationship over time.


Alliances experience is required for this position.
