to design, implement, monitor, and manage the local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) for our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure the stable operation of our network infrastructure and provide high levels of availability and security. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and install network hardware and software.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, and security.
Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades.
Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and migrations.
Provide Tier 2/3 support and guidance to helpdesk staff and end users.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, assets, and processes.
Conduct network capacity planning and performance tuning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Network Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, HP, or similar network hardware.
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security systems.
Proficient in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
