Role Summary: Networking BDE



This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in networking sales. You'll focus on developing opportunities across Cisco, HPE, Dell, Juniper, Aruba and other networking lines (including Netgear, TP-Link, DrayTek, and Allied Telesis). Much of the work is uncovering new requirements within existing customers, supporting the sales team, and learning how to turn technical needs into practical solutions.

You don't need to be a networking expert on day one. You'll learn on the job, supported by training and vendor courses, while gaining real-world experience selling core networking products such as switches, access points and firewalls.

This is a Basingstoke office-based role.

Key Responsibilities



Proactively uncover networking opportunities within our customer base and through outreach to new prospects. Support the sales team by qualifying needs, identifying suitable networking solutions, and preparing quotes. Build working knowledge across Cisco and other networking vendors, including switches, wireless products, security appliances and management tools. Maintain regular contact with customers to understand upcoming projects and refresh cycles. Develop strong relationships with vendor partners to stay aware of promotions, programmes and training. Work with colleagues across sales and procurement to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills



Some experience in Networking, IT sales or a related customer-facing role is essential. Interest in networking technologies and willingness to complete vendor training. Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable speaking with customers, building relationships and uncovering requirements. Organised, proactive and able to work well in a collaborative team environment. Motivation to develop expertise across Cisco and a wide range of networking technologies.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
