The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven New Business Sales Executive to develop new customer relationships within the food manufacturing and retail sectors. This role is focused on identifying opportunities, opening new accounts, and driving profitable growth while working closely with internal production and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within food manufacturing and retail markets
Proactively research and secure new customers
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Understand customer requirements and translate them into viable packaging solutions
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts
Represent the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions, and industry events
Key Requirements
Proven experience in B2B sales within printing, paper converting, or packaging industry
Strong understanding of food packaging requirements and compliance standards
Working knowledge of BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards)
Experience selling into food industry and/or retail environments
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused
Full UK driving licence (if applicable)
Desirable
Existing contacts within food manufacturing or retail
Knowledge of sustainable or recyclable packaging solutions
