New Business Technical Sales Executive

, your primary focus will be to

proactively seek out and win new clients

for our bespoke wire rope solutions. You'll be responsible for building your own pipeline, opening doors, and driving the full sales cycle from cold outreach to close.

We're looking for someone who's not afraid to pick up the phone, knock on doors, and get creative in finding new ways to reach decision-makers. If you love the thrill of turning a cold lead into a long-term customer, this is your chance to make a real impact in a growing, people-first business.

Key Responsibilities



Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation



Identify and research potential new clients across target industries and regions Execute outbound outreach strategies including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn engagement, and networking Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads through proactive prospecting Book and attend discovery meetings with decision-makers to understand their needs and introduce SWR's wire rope solutions

Sales Execution & Deal Closing



Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to close, with a focus on new business acquisition Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to each prospect's technical requirements Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable new accounts Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets

Collaboration & Handover



Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and project delivery for new clients Provide detailed handovers to account managers to support long-term client success

Market Awareness & Feedback



Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities Share insights from the field to help shape product development and marketing strategies

What we're looking for:



Proven Experience

: 3+ years in outbound B2B sales, ideally in a technical or engineering environment

Wire Rope Knowledge

: Experience in wire rope sales is highly desirable

Sales Hunter

: You're energised by prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new business

Strong Communicator

: Able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Confident Negotiator

: Skilled in handling objections and securing profitable deals

Organised & Target-Driven

: You manage your pipeline effectively and are motivated by hitting and exceeding goals

Tech-Savvy

: Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to manage outreach and reporting
