Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and supporting recovery processes.
Assist in the assessment of patient needs and develop personalised care plans in collaboration with medical teams.
Administer medications accurately following prescribed dosages and protocols while observing for adverse reactions.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatments, and interventions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, medication regimens, and post-discharge care instructions.
Collaborate effectively with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to support accurate assessments and interventions.
Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding drug interactions and side effects.
Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
