Madingley Hall is part of the University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education. Built in the 16th century, this elegant country house has 16 well-equipped meeting rooms, 62 ensuite bedrooms, a professional kitchen, licensed bar, coffee shop, Lodge House available as rentable short-stay accommodation and is set in 8-acres of grounds including superb Capability Brown designed gardens.

The Role




The night Assistant will ensure the safety of guests, the building and onsite team throughout the night whilst preparing the business for the following day.


The Night Assistant will ensure comprehensive representation for all safety and emergency teams as members of both safety management committees and response units.


This is a full-time position: 5 nights out of 7, Monday to Sunday variable on a rota basis, including weekend and public holidays. Working pattern will be from 11PM until 7AM with 42 minutes break per shift.
