We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated care team. This is a key role where your presence and attentiveness through the night ensures stability, security, and continuity for the young people in our care.
About the Role
You'll work closely with our experienced leadership team, including the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, receiving full training and support to develop both personally and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overnight supervision and emotional reassurance to children and young people
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all residents during night-time hours
Monitor routines and respond calmly and appropriately to any incidents or needs
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and safeguarding processes
Create a consistent, stable environment where children feel protected and respected
Work collaboratively with daytime staff to ensure seamless care transitions
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 year of experience in residential childcare or a similar setting (preferred)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
A calm, observant, and nurturing approach to care
Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
