Inner Space Stations

is an independently-owned, family-run business which is fun, fast-paced and rewarding and we are looking to recruit a Full - time Night Cashier to work alongside our existing staff in our busy store.

The vacancy is working:

Tuesday 10pm - 6am & Wednesday 10pm - 6am

You will also be required to help cover colleagues holidays.

You must be aged 18 or over to be employed at Inner Space Stations as you'll need to authorize age-related sales.

The role will involve:

Offering excellent customer service - giving a friendly welcome and helpful service every day Keeping everything clean and tidy on the shop floor and behind the scenes Keeping on top of store inventory and stock management, and cash processes to ensure shifts run smoothly Engaging with colleagues to succeed together Make sure the store is safe, legal and operational - you'll manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make sure our customers have a quick and easy shopping experience

Brief Overview of role:

Stocking shelves with merchandise, rotating stock and date checking stock. As you will be required to move stock, this will involve bending and lifting. Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes vacuuming and mopping. Working within established guidelines. Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc. Removal of rubbish to the appropriate storage areas
You will also be involved in food preparation and cooking for our In-Store bakery so you will need to log all items prepared, baked and wasted to comply with food safety legislation

Cashiers will be on their feet for their shift and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.15 per hour
