Role Summary:



We are seeking a highly professional and service-oriented Concierge to be the welcoming face of our luxury student residence. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding resident experience, ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations. This role requires a background in high-end hospitality (specifically hotels) and will also involve actively supporting Sales & Lettings.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide a warm, professional, and courteous welcome to all residents, visitors, and contractors. Manage the front desk efficiently, handling mail, parcels, key management, and resident communications. Act as a primary resource for residents, offering information on building facilities, local amenities, transport links, and events. Maintain building security by monitoring access, managing visitor logs, and responding appropriately to security alerts or situations. Handle resident enquiries and requests promptly and effectively, resolving issues or escalating them as necessary. Drive Sales & Lettings team by conducting property viewings for prospective residents, handling initial enquiries, and providing administrative support. Ensure the reception area and lobby are maintained to the highest standards of presentation at all times. Liaise effectively with other departments, including maintenance, housekeeping, and management, to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist with the coordination of resident services and support resident events. Uphold the brand standards and values in all interactions.

Required Skills & Experience:



Essential:

Proven experience in a Concierge or Front Desk role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for exceeding expectations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Immaculate personal presentation and a highly professional demeanour. Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. Proactive problem-solving skills and a 'can-do' attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property management or booking systems is advantageous. Demonstrable ability or willingness to support sales and lettings activities, including conducting viewings. Good knowledge of London and its attractions/services is desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, potentially including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the operational roster. Mandaring proficiency is advantageous.
