Breakdown Recovery Controller - Night Shift

Location: Newport | Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am (subject to change)Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Walls Truck Services Ltd is currently seeking a Night Breakdown Recovery Controller to join our 24-hour Control Centre team based in Newport.

Please Note: Applicants must have relevant experience in a similar role or industry.

Shift Pattern

12-hour shifts: 7:00pm - 7:00am (subject to change)*
4 on / 4 off rotation Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to cover some annual leave and sickness when required.
Key Responsibilities

Handling inbound and outbound calls from a wide range of customers Dispatching and allocating appropriate resources to recovery jobs Supporting on-road technicians and drivers Managing customer expectations and delivering excellent service Making quick, informed decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a Control Room / Dispatch / Breakdown Recovery Controller role Strong communication and telephone skills Proficient with computers and dispatch software Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills Driving Licence required
