Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for all residents.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Implement individual care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that each resident's needs are met. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere within the care home. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate staff member Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively. Monitoring residents overnight and meet their needs

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members. Computer literate
