Role Overview

The Night Manager ensures smooth overnight operations of the hotel and acts as the senior point of contact for guests and staff during the night. You will maintain operational standards, respond to emergencies, and uphold the safety, security, and comfort of all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee night operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and security Act as the first point of contact for guest queries, complaints, or emergencies Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are followed throughout the hotel Conduct night audits and reconcile daily reports Manage and support night staff, providing guidance and supervision Respond promptly to incidents, including maintenance issues, medical emergencies, and guest concerns Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting Assist with reservations, check-ins/check-outs when required Support the management team in upholding brand standards and operational excellence

Person Specification / Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a hotel management or supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies professionally Knowledge of hotel operations, front desk systems, and night audit procedures Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Flexible, with the ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays Awareness of health, safety, and security protocols
