We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent guest service abilities, and a background in hospitality management. This role offers an opportunity to ensure guest satisfaction, manage staff, and maintain high standards of service throughout the night shift.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of hotel staff during night hours, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
Oversee security procedures and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Manage check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals and early departures.
Manage setting up of function rooms according to plans provided.
Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas to uphold hotel standards.
Assist with human resources functions such as scheduling, training, and performance management of night staff.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, reports, and operational activities during the shift.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across all hotel services.
Requirements
Proven management experience within a hospitality or hotel environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Previous experience in hotel operations or human resources is advantageous.
Knowledge of hospitality standards, security procedures, and guest relations.
Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
