The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Night Manger to join the Front Desk team!


We are looking for an enthusiastic Night Manager wanting to assist in ensuring all our guests have a wonderful stayat the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.

As the Night Manager you will...

To ensure the smooth running of the Hotel during the night. To manage and supervise all Night Hosts including the contractors ensuring Company standards are adhered to in relation to quality guest service and profitability.

To ensure that all Night Hosts meet Company image standards at all times and that they are aware of the contents of the Host Handbook.

To ensure that every effort is made to establish effective communication within the Night team and with all other Departments in the Hotel.

To hold Night team meetings on a monthly basis.

A successful Night Manager is someone who...

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Strong Communication skills & interpersonal skills Excellent level of spoken and written English Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Able to work independently and within a team Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
