Night Receptionist

Our Night Receptionists are responsible for continuing an exceptional customer experience during night hours. You will be a confident and effective communicator, always on the lookout for ways to delight our guests by understanding their purpose for travelling and anticipating their requirements. Under the direction of the Night Manager, you will be responsible for completing end-of-day procedures, and for looking after the safety and security of the hotel.



Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Ensure that all guests are welcomed and checked-in into the hotel in a warm, genuine & professional manner & when possible, addressed by their name. To be fully conversant with check-out procedures in an informative & helpful manner. Project a helpful and enthusiastic attitude while offering choices, anticipating & identifying guest expectations, in order to ensure that guests' needs are met & where possible exceeded. Beware of the current hotel availability and propose up-sell and cross-sell whenever it is possible, to maximize room occupancy and hotel revenue. To observe all security, health and safety regulations. To be fully conversant and capable of acting in an appropriate manner during emergency situations in accordance with the hotel emergency procedures. To carry out all duties with due regard for the specifications of relevant & related legislation. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by senior reception staff or management.


What are we looking for?

Previous night receptionist experience, ideally in similar hotel environment Fluency in English Excellent and effective communicator Problem solving and complaint handling skills Flexibility and adaptability Knowledge of the Opera system

The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
