site who is able to manage and lead the

Night Shift

and all team members within.

Job Title - Shift Manager



Location - King's Lynn



Shift Pattern - Sunday to Thursday - 22:00 - 06:00



Ensuring that all products are manufactured according to customer specification whilst maintaining an environment of continuous improvement, driving forward targets and performance levels. Ensure that hygiene rules and personal hygiene standards are followed at all times Actively participate in 3rd party audits within your area of responsibility Coach team members to achieve improvements in day to day activities and personal development Liaise with planning to ensure accurate labour planning with full compliance to the ETI Base Code and ensure key positions are covered at all times Promote a culture of mutual respect and compliance with Dignity at Work principles at all times. Fully understand the concept of machine throughput rates and ensure they are achieved and maintained within the standard manning levels. Liaise with the maintenance staff, identify and communicate machine problems as they arise, ensure effective action is being taken. Identify and quantify problems caused by incoming materials, whether from external sources or from other departments within the factory or business Work closely with your SHE Manager and SHE Representatives, participating in the monthly SHE meetings to promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times
Strong leadership and management skills, have the ability to resolve issues both efficiently and professionally. Experience of working in a similar food manufacturing environment - essential Experience in first line management and the ability to lead a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to coach and mentor your team members to enhance their abilities and help with their personal development.
