ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of a Night Shift Painter/Decorator, your key focus will be to:
be responsible for the effective maintenance and decor within the hotel's guest-related and back-of-house areas
carry out repairs to the paint and fabric of the hotel
decorate various items used within the hotel i.e. Showcase display boards, picture frames, etc
be responsible for the cleanliness of the workshop and areas maintained by the Engineering Department
be flexible to assist any other maintenance colleagues in day-to-day duties and emergencies as required by the needs of the department
responsible for ensuring that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair, especially before entering any guest areas, name badges are to be worn on the outer garment
ABOUT YOU
previous experience within a similar role in a hospitality environment or within another sector
relevant trade qualifications
great problem solving skills
positive and proactive attitude
ability to work on your own initiative, but also as part of the Engineering team
