Langage Farm is a family-owned, well-established dairy product manufacturer, supplying several national retail chains. We are currently seeking an Evening Hygiene Supervisor to join our expanding team. This full-time position requires an average of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 14:00 PM and finishing when production is complete and all the hygiene tasks have been completed. Some weekend work may be required occasionally, depending on the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate the evening hygiene team, whilst working closely with our Night Shift Manager. While prior supervisory experience is preferred, we are also open to applicants who can demonstrate the ability to lead and work well under pressure. You will play a crucial role in leading the team during the end of production, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards once the production line is finished. It's important to maintain a smooth transition from production to cleaning, ensuring that all hygiene requirements are met before the next production shift begins the following day. Additionally, you will handle some minor office tasks, such as reporting and documentation, to support our technical team.

This position will also require you to cover for the Night Shift Manager during periods of absence. A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is preferred, although not essential. The successful candidate must be punctual, efficient, and able to work well in a team environment. Time management and efficiency are key, as this is a fast-paced, floor-based position. Strong leadership and communication skills.

Experience in industrial cleaning.

Understanding of COSHH

Knowledge of HACCP

Knowledge of BRCGS requirements

Food Factory experience.

Food hygiene level 2 (training can be given on site)

Cleaning production equipment.

Leading the evening team packing product on a production line.

Maintain hygiene standards within the work area.

Assembling packaging such as boxes for use on the production line.
