Support Worker - Waking Nights

12.31 per hour

Role:

Full time Permanent 40 hours per week

Shifts:

9:45pm-7:45am, you must be flexible to work any 4 nights out of the week including some weekends



You must have relevant experience for this position, especially supporting people who may show behaviours that may be described as challenging.

About the service



We currently have 6 adult service users residing at swan court 5 males and 1 female, Swan Court is a residential service focusing on Learning Disabilities, Autism and behaviours that may eb described as challenging,the people we support are nonverbal and require full support with day to day living skills and promoting independence, we all here work as team to meet the needs of each individual based on a person centred approach.

Support Worker duties:




Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents This includes employment, education and other opportunities Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
